Abstract
In the article is published for the first an epigraphic monument for the Turkish soldiers who died in The Russian-Turkish War of 1877/1878. Monument was erected by Tadeusz Groholski who had great estates and a palace in Strizawka in 1881. It is written in Ottoman Turkish and has survived the great Wars and changes of the region. The Inscription is published here with additional historical commentary.
